As Director of Discipleship, you'll lead and support the church’s mission of making disciples for the transformation of the world. This leadership role combines strategic planning with hands-on ministry—cultivating small groups, coordinating youth and children’s ministries, and encouraging spiritual growth across all ages.

• Leading Christian education programs (Sunday School, small groups, VBS, etc.)
  

• Recruiting and equipping volunteers across all discipleship ministry areas
  

• Planning and supporting worship experiences involving children and youth
  

• Overseeing youth and children’s events, mission trips, and retreats
  

• Creating fellowship opportunities and fostering intergenerational connections
  

• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment for all participants
  

• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and active church involvement
  

• Degree in education, ministry, or related field (preferred)
  

• Experience in leadership, youth/children’s ministry, or Christian education
  

• Excellent communication, organizational, and relational skills
  

• Familiarity with United Methodist beliefs and willingness to uphold them
  

• Ability to pass a background check and maintain Safe Gatherings certification
